In the next 5-10 years I see myself accomplishing so many different goals. For example, I will be married, have children, pay off my student loans, buy a house, go back to school to get my PhD in Special Education, and just live financially stable. Now, where I see myself working in the next 5-10 years is still a mystery. I want to get my doctorate degree, possibly obtain my principal certificate, possibly be a professor at a college, who knows, but I do know that I was pushed to think about these goals and thoughts into the future. The S-STEM program supported me with these goals by getting my life on track. I came out of high school not wanting to go to college and I went to community college. I found out about Clear Path at ESU, applied thinking I would never get it, and I got it. They have been supporting me since community college. There was no way I could go to a 4-year institution without going through a scholarship program, and there ESU Clear Path was. I hope to become a math teacher one day, or at least tutor in math. Clear Path helped me go to college and be a part of what I needed. It helped me spread my wings and grow in different communities. Without the S-STEM scholarship and Clear Path I don’t think I would be the same as I am today!
