Alexander Godinez-Robinson

Alexander Godinez-Robinson graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in June of 2015, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a focus in International Relations and Comparative Politics. Alexander pursued a graduate degree from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England, receiving a Master of Arts in Security and Terrorism, graduating with Merit. He also completed a second graduate program at the University College London, receiving a Master of Science in International Public Policy.

Alexander participated in the NNSA Graduate Fellowship Program (NGFP) with the 2019-2020 cohort, working in the Office of Material Management and Minimization (NA-23). At the end of his fellowship, he was hired into the Office of Management and Budget’s (NA-MB-40) Learning and Career Management (LCM) and worked his way up as the NGFP Operations Manager & Strategic Advisor, Deputy Federal Program Manager, and now, serves as Federal Program Manager for NGFP. Additionally, Alexander designed and implemented the Minority Serving Institutions Internship Program (MSIIP) for the NNSA in 2021 and has served as the Federal Program Manager since its establishment.  

Alexander also has extensive experience working with leadership development programs outside of the NNSA. He volunteers every summer in California to work with high school leadership students, teaching leadership development and DEIA principles, and seminars on time management, effective communication and collaboration, ethical leadership, and personality/work styles.
