Emily Miller is an associate professor of Mathematics Education at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She also serves as a co-PI on the institution’s S-STEM award. Interested in issues of retention and attrition for underrepresented groups in STEM, she leads focus groups to identify obstacles and supports that undergraduate STEM majors encounter. She holds an M.S. in Applied Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Education, both from the University of Delaware, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
