Jennifer Kurushima

Jennifer Kurushima, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Biology Department at Evergreen Valley College (EVC) in San Jose, California. With 15 years of community teaching experience and over two decades of research in genetics, conservation, forensics, and education, she is a dedicated educator and researcher. Jennifer leads the Bio Scholars program at EVC and currently serves as the Principal Investigator (PI) on an NSF S-STEM grant and the Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) on an ITYC/SEA PHAGES grant.
