Narjes Khorsandi Koujel (she/her) is a Ph.D. Candidate in Engineering Education at Rowan University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering in Iran and subsequently worked as an industrial engineer in the food industry for over 10 years. Narjes’ research and activism focus on women in the Middle East. In particular, she focuses on how access to resources, culture, and gendered norms affect their development of engineering identity.
