Nhi Do

My name is Nhi Do and I am a first-generation community college student transferring as a Genetics & Plant Biology to UC Berkeley. My journey started at Evergreen Valley College, where I discovered my love for plants and gained an interest in academic research. Community college has shown me that it is possible to achieve great things with effort and determination. The Biology Scholars program and my network of mentors has provided me with the support and resources that made it possible for me to successfully transfer. I am passionate about participating in outreach programs and giving back to my community by telling my story and becoming a mentor for others.
