Growth Mindset EBP Repository

Description: Growth mindset, introduced by Carol Dweck, suggests that abilities and intelligence can be developed through effort. Research shows that this mindset can enhance outcomes like academic performance and resilience. Recent studies have validated different scales for measuring growth mindset, including three-item and single-item versions, proving reliable across age groups. New tools also distinguish between fixed and growth mindsets, addressing limitations of existing measures. Embracing this mindset can significantly impact personal and educational development.

The REC website now houses a database of measures/tools and instruments for Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs).

To locate the additional databases, go to the “Resources” page on the REC website and click on the “Evidence-Based Practices” Resource Type on the side bar. You can browse through the list of EBPs relevant to your project.
