Bridge Programs EBP Repository

Description: Bridge programs in higher education are structured initiatives-often held in the summer-that support students’ transition into college, particularly in STEM fields, by strengthening academic skills, increasing knowledge about their chosen discipline, and fostering social connections and support networks. The effectiveness of bridge programs is typically assessed through pre- and post-program surveys using Likert-type scales, measuring outcomes such as academic skill development, confidence, social cohesion, and students’ satisfaction with their transition to college.

The REC website now houses a database of measures/tools and instruments for Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs).

To locate the additional databases, go to the “Resources” page on the REC website and click on the “Evidence-Based Practices” Resource Type on the side bar. You can browse through the list of EBPs relevant to your project.
